Embark on a new & exclusive 2-day adventure from Ouarzazate to the Moroccan Sahara Desert of Merzouga. This tour is a blend of dramatic landscapes, ancient kasbahs, and a memorable desert experience. Let’s drive through the enchanting Dades Valley and the dramatic Todra Gorges before we arrive in the golden dunes of Merzouga. Join us for a camel ride at sunset and spend a special night under the desert stars in a traditional Berber camp. On our way back from the Sahara Desert, we will travel through the Draa Valley with its palm groves and Berber villages.

Itinerary

Day 1Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga

On the first day our 2-day tour from Ouarzazate, we will drive from Ouarzazate in the morning and pass through Skoura and the Valley of Roses. Next, we will stop in Dades Valley to admire the rock formations and Berber villages there and also explore Todra Gorges, a spectacular canyon popular among hikers and climbers. In the afternoon, we will carry on driving to Merzouga. As soon as we arrive there, we will catch a camel ride into the Desert dunes of Erg Chebbi in order to watch the fascinating sunset. At nightfall, our camels will drop us off at the camp for Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

On the second day of our 2-day tour, we will wake up early to watch and enjoy the sunrise over the desert dunes, have breakfast in the camp and then start our journey back in a different route to do more exploring & make the most of our 2 days. We will drive through Draa Valley, passing through Berber villages like Nkob and Agdz. We will Stop for photos and lunch on the way before our Arrival back in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon where our 2-day desert tour from Ouarzazate ends.
