On the first day of our 7 days from Tangier to Casablanca via Marrakesh, we are going to start our trip in the early morning from Tangier to Fes, a historic and imperial city known for its old medina and its Souks that are so alive and its unique and fascinating architecture. On our way, we will pass through the scenic Rif Mountains and stop at the charming city of Chefchaouen that is also known as the Blue Pearl of Morocco with its unique vibe and breathtaking views. Next, we are going to Continue our driving all the way to Fes and spend the night at a Riad so that you can relax and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Fez
After a delicious breakfast in Fes, we are going to embark on a local tour in the city of Fes. We are basically visiting the most touristy places in Fez city. First and foremost, we will discover every hidden corner of Fes’s old medina and take a walk around its cobble-stoned little streets and visit mostly known Bazars and souks in case you want to carry out something from Morocco as a souvenir. Lastly, we will visit the Jewish quarter and then stop by the Chouara tanneries where they make leather.
After a nice breakfast, we are going to depart for the Sahara Desert, an amazing natural wonder that stretches across Morocco and several other North African countries such as Egypt. On our way, we are going to explore Ifrane, a charming picturesque Alpine town known for its unique architecture, and the cedar forests of Azrou to resist the cold days of winter, it is a home to Barbary apes. When we arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, we are going to ride a camel to see the breathtaking sunset view from above the highest sand dunes and then head over to our desert camp and Experience the magic of the Sahara with a traditional Moroccan dinner under the starry sky of the Desert.
We are going to get up in the early morning to witness the sunrise over the Saharan sand dunes and have a Berber Breakfast at our camp, followed by a cozy shower, and then depart for Boumalne Dades, a town located in the heart of the Dades Valley, known for its scenic beauty and fabulous mountains. Along the way, we are going to stop at the Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon with steep cliffs that rise up to 300 meters. When we Arrive in Boumalne Dades, we are going to spend the night at the hotel.
We will get up early as usual and leave for Marrakesh or as it called the red city, one of Morocco’s most famous cities known for its vibrant markets, wonderful architecture, and a rich history.
On our journey to Marrakesh, we will drive through the High Atlas Mountains and stop at the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been featured in many movies. When we arrive in Marrakesh in the evening, we will head over to the Riad for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will set out on a new adventure to explore the vibrant city of Marrakesh. Firstly we are going to visit the Bahia Palace, an impressive 19th-century palace known for its unique architecture and lush gardens and then explore les Jardin Majorelle, a quiet garden oasis that was once owned by Yves Saint Laurent. In the evening, we’ll take a leisurely stroll through Djemaa El Fna, the main square of Marrakesh, and see the bustling market scene, street performances, and local cuisine of Morocco and Marrakesh.
After enjoying our final breakfast in Marrakesh. we are going to hit the road and head over to Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco and the economic capital of Morocco. Our first stop will be the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world and a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture. Next, we are going to explore the city’s vibrant medina and market scene and try the local cuisine. In the evening, we are going to either drop you off at the airport or Riad if you still want to stay in Morocco. Our 7-day tour from Tangier comes to an end.
It usually takes one hour or one hour and a half and it is fun experience, as you can also take pictures.
There is no specific outfit for that; however, make sure you wear comfortable clothing and a scarf, as the sun could be a little too hot.
