Join our 5-day tour from Agadir to the Sahara Desert via Marrakech & Let us dive into a new adventure to explore Morocco all the way from the coast to the Sahara Desert of Merzouga, while making stops along the way to enjoy the magic of nature in the Atlas Mountains, the fabulous Kasbahs of Ouarzazate and the giant canyons of Dades & Toudra. It is such a unique tour itinierary that will show you a variety of sceneries, landscapes and so on in just 5 days.
Our 5-day tour from Agadir kicks off in Agadir. We are going to journey towards the popular & vibrant city of Marrakech. When in Marrakech, we will enjoy a local walking tour of the medina; we will visit the famous sites such as the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Bahia Palace. Next, we will spend the night in a traditional riad/hotel in Marrakech.
After breakfast our breakfast at the Riad, we will leave Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas Mountains via the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka pass. Next, we will stop at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Aït Benhaddou, a magical Kasbah (fortified village) famous for its role in many local & Western films. Following our visit to the Kasbah, we will continue through the Valley of Roses and reach Boumalne Dades in the evening. We will spend the night in a hotel overlooking the Dades Gorges.
On this very day, we will visit the fascinating Todra Gorges, popular for its canyons and a haven for hikers and photographers. Then we will drive toward the Sahara desert via Erfoud and Rissani, before we Arrive in Merzouga, where we will take a camel ride in the Erg Chebbi dunes and enjoy a magical desert sunset as well as take pictures. Lastly, we will spend the night in a Berber desert camp with a delicious dinner, local music.
On the fourth day, we will wake up early to catch a desert sunrise, then ride camels back to our accomodation for breakfast. Next, we will begin your journey to Ouarzazate via remote Berber towns like Alnif and Tazarine, and we will drive along the picturesque Draa Valley, known for its palm oases and ancient kasbahs. We will stay the night at a Riad in Ouarzazate.
On the last day of our 5-day tour from Agadir to the Sahara Desert & after a delicious breakfast, we will visit the famous of Kasbah Taourirt, the Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate, then carry on driving through the Anti-Atlas mountains, p through Taznakht, a town known for Berber carpets, and Taroudant, often called “Little Marrakech.” We will arrive back in Agadir in the late afternoon.
It usually takes one hour or one hour and a half and it is fun experience, as you can also take pictures.
There is no specific outfit for that; however, make sure you wear comfortable clothing and a scarf, as the sun could be a little too hot.
