Join this one-day journey from the vibrant city of Marrakech to the coastal beauty of Agadir. It is known for its long sandy beach, and relaxed seaside vibe, Agadir is the perfect escape for travelers looking to see the captivating Atlantic Ocean. This full-day trip blends culture, nature, and leisure. It gives you a change of pace from the busy Marrakech.
Agadir is one of Morocco’s most modern cities, offering a completely different atmosphere. Interestingly enough, it was only rebuilt after the 1960 earthquake, it features wide streets, clean beaches, and a positive energy. With its climate, fresh seafood, coastal breeze, and rich Berber heritage, Agadir is suitable for sunseekers, surfers, and anyone craving ocean views and relaxation.
As usual, our Morning Departure starts in Marrakech & our driver will pick you up early (around 7:00 AM) and drive through the High Atlas foothills toward the Atlantic coast. On the road, you will enjoy the beautiful countryside views and a short break for coffee or breakfast before our arrival.
Once in Agadir, we are going to begin our visit to the panoramic Agadir Oufella Ruins, an old kasbah that overlooks the city and coastline. From there, we will enjoy magical views of Agadir’s bay and harbor. Next, we will explore the City and visit Agadir’s Marina, walk along the beachfront promenade, and explore the local Souk El Had, one of Morocco’s largest traditional markets, filled with spices, handicrafts, and local goods. Following that, we are going to have Lunch by the Sea & enjoy a fresh seafood lunch (or other Moroccan dishes) at a seaside restaurant overlooking the Atlantic coast. This is the perfect moment to relax and breathe in the ocean air. In addition to all of that, we are going to have free time to chill at the Beach, spend our free time walking along the beach, relax under the sun, or dip our feet in the ocean. Also, you can rent a sunbed, try water sports and so on…
Later in the day, we are going back to Marrakech and arrive around 6 PM / 7 PM, Where our 1-day excursion ends.
