From there, we will drive deeper into the High Atlas Mountains toward Imilchil, a remote Berber village in the mountains with a famous lake called “Lac Tislit” , surrounded by silence and beautiful landscapes. We will spend the night there at a guesthouse and enjoy a peaceful stay.
After a nice breakfast at the hotel, we will journey through remote mountain roads and authentic Berber villages like Ait Hani. Also? We will enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the Eastern High Atlas, passing through the quiet and hidden gem town of Amellago, known for its canyons and caves and the simple lifestyle of its people. We were a group of four friends and this tour was unforgettable! Driving through dramatic canyons, visiting lakes and villages that felt frozen in time, and then spending the last night in the Sahara—this was way more than we expected. The guides were super friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. If you’re looking for something different than the typical Marrakech tours, this is it!
Every stop was like stepping into a postcard. The Todgha cliffs, the raw beauty of Imilchil, and the quiet desert of Tadighoust were all breathtaking. The light at sunset near Lake Tislit was amazing for photos. If you’re into photography or landscapes, this route is a hidden gem. I’d do it again just for the breath-taking sights. Merzouga was the perfect ending—unreal scenery and adorable golden light.
This tour gave me everything I was looking for: off-the-beaten-track mountain passes, peaceful villages like Amellago, and a powerful finish in the Sahara. I loved that the itinerary focused on nature and authenticity. The landscapes were wild and beautiful, and the team at ToMerzouga made sure everything was smooth and personalized.
The landscapes on this route were just stunning. Dades Valley, Todgha, and then reaching Tislit Lake in Imilchil was a journey through layers of Morocco’s hidden beauty. We really appreciated the slow pace, the silence of the mountains, and the amazing riad in Tadighoust. The desert finale in Merzouga was magical—camels, music, stars. A beautifully planned and intimate tour!
This 3-day tour was the ideal for someone like me who loves nature, culture, and peace. The drive through Todgha Gorges and into Imilchil was absolutely breathtaking. I loved how remote and untouched the places were. I felt like I discovered a side of Morocco most people never see. The camel ride in Merzouga was the perfect way to end the journey. A quiet, beautiful, and soulful adventure.
