Itinerary

Day 1Tangier – Tetouan – Akchour Waterfalls – Chefchaouen

we are going to start our journey in Tangier, one of the largest and modern cities in Morocco. After picking you up from your accommodation in the morning, we’ll go on a drive along the coastline with  breathtaking views of the Strait of Gibraltar. We will enjoy a view of the European coast, including Gibraltar, and make photo stops along the way.
Next, we’ll drive near Ceuta and continue our drive to Martil, a charming town next to Tetouan. After that, we are gonna make our next stop in the historic city of Tetouan, famous for its Andalusian architecture and lively medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once there, you’ll have time to explore the old town and the local culture as well as enjoy the fresh Rif mountain air that attracts many visitors.

In the afternoon, we are heading over to the amazing Akchour Waterfalls, situated within the landscapes of Talassemtane National Park. This peaceful natural heaven is a perfect spot for relaxing, swimming. Later in the day & After our visit to Akchour, we will drive to Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. We will spend the night in a nice Riad in the medina.

Day 2Explore Chefchaouen – Blue pearl- Return to Tangier

On the second day of our 2-day tour from Tangier to Chefchaouen & After a nice Moroccan breakfast, we will spend time exploring the fabulous city of Chefchaouen, widely admired by visitors from all over the world thanks to its blue-painted houses, narrow streets, and peaceful vibe. Next, We’ll hike up to a a high spot in the Rif Mountains to capture a nice view of the entire blue city. In late afternoon, we will begin our drive back to Tangier, where our two-day Morocco adventure from Tangier to Chefchaouen comes to an end.

How long does the camel ride last?

It usually takes one hour or one hour and a half and it is fun experience, as you can also take pictures.

What should I wear for the camel ride?

There is no specific outfit for that; however, make sure you wear comfortable clothing and a scarf, as the sun could be a little too hot.

Is the accommodation in the desert comfortable?

Yes, standard and luxury desert camps are super comfortable. Both include private tents with private bathrooms and delicious local Moroccan meals
