Our 5-day cultural journey starts in Marrakech, where you will be picked up from your riad or hotel and then we will start driving toward the majestic High Atlas Mountains. The road climbs through spectacular mountain landscapes and traditional Berber villages before reaching the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, there will be opportunities to stop for panoramic photos and short breaks. As the scenery gradually changes from mountains to rocky valleys, you will arrive in the beautiful Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rocks and canyons and oasis landscapes. Once there, we will enjoy a relaxing evening and overnight stay in a charming guesthouse in Dades Valley.
After our breakfast, we will continue toward the impressive Todra Gorge, where massive mountains rise amazingly on both sides of the river. You will have time to walk through the gorge and admire its beauty. The journey then continues through authentic mountain villages such as Ait Hani and Amellago, offering a glimpse into rural Moroccan life far from mass tourism.
By the afternoon, we will arrive in Tadighoust, where a truly special cultural experience is waiting. We will will spend the rest of the day with a local Berber family, sharing traditional mint tea and participating in cooking a Moroccan dinner ( Couscous, Tagine etc… ) giving you the opportunity to learn about local Berber culture, daily life, and local Moroccan traditions. We will also enjoy a peaceful walk through palm groves and village paths before spending the night in a warm and welcoming family home in Tadighoust. This day offers an authentic experience to local culture and hospitality.
After our breakfast with our host family, the journey continues through oasis towns such as Goulmima and Erfoud, where ancient Kasbahs and palm valleys dominate the landscape. As you approach Merzouga, the scenery changes into desert, eventually revealing the golden sand dunes of the Sahara.
Upon our arrival in Merzouga, we will go on a memorable camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun begins to set, the desert turns into warm shades of orange and red, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. After reaching the desert camp, we will enjoy dinner under the stars, followed by traditional music around the campfire. Overnight in a comfortable desert camp surrounded by silence and endless sand dunes
On the following day we will wake up early to enjoy a desert sunrise before returning by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga village. After breakfast, the journey continues through changing desert landscapes toward the Draa Valley, famous for its towering palm groves and ancient Kasbahs. The drive offers magical views and photo opportunities before our arrival in Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa.”

After our breakfast, we will begin our return journey to Marrakech. The drive once again takes you through the High Atlas Mountains. We will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon, marking the end of an unforgettable five-day oasis tour combining mountains, culture, oasis towns, and the magic of the Sahara Desert.
It usually takes one hour or one hour and a half and it is fun experience, as you can also take pictures.
There is no specific outfit for that; however, make sure you wear comfortable clothing and a scarf, as the sun could be a little too hot.
