Special 7-Day Tour from Marrakech to Casablanca via Merzouga

On the first day of our 7-day tour from Marrakech, our adventure begins in the beautiful city of Marrakech. Marrakech is a  blend of history, culture, and colors. You will  meet our local tour guide, go on a full-day city tour. First off, you will see the stunning Bahia Palace, admire the Koutoubia Mosque from outside, take photos and wander through the calm and colorful Majorelle Gardens. By late evening, we will end our day in the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square. Here, you will see snake charmers, street food vendors, and musicians create an unforgettable atmosphere. We will spend the night in Marrakech.

After breakfast, we will travel through the breathtaking Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Next, we are going to Stop at the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a picturesque place famous for its appearance in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After our visit to the Kasbah, we will continue our drive to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,”. Once there, we will explore Cinema and Atlas Museums before driving through the Valley of Roses all the way to Dades Gorges for our Overnight stay at the Riad.

After exploring the rock formations of Dades valley, we will head over to the dramatic Todra Gorges, a popular spot for rock climbers, Hikers and photographers. Then, we will journey towards the magical Merzouga Desert. Upon arrival, we will swap our vehicle for camels and ride into the golden sand dunes to watch the sunset and take photos. At nightfall, our camel men will drop us off  in a luxury desert camp, enjoy traditional Berber music under a starry sky and spend the night in the peaceful Sahara Desert.

On this day, we will wake up early to see a breathtaking Sahara Desert sunrise. After breakfast, we will drive to the north, via Ziz Valley and Midelt. On the way there, we will stop at the Cedar Forest in Azrou to see the famous Barbary macaque monkeys before we continue to the historic and spiritual city of Fes. Our Overnight stay will be in a Riad in Fes.

After breakfast, we will drive over to the neighoring city of Meknes, another imperial city, to see its beautiful landmarks such as Bab Mansour Gate and Heri es-Souani granaries with unique Arabic decorations and writings. After that, we will continue our journey to the charming blue town of Chefchaouen, located in the Rif Mountains. Once there, we will explore its peaceful alleys, colorful doors, and picturesque squares. Overnight will be in a calm Riad in Chefchaouen medina.

On our final day, we will travel through the beautiful Moroccan landscapes to Casablanca. Casablnaca is the economic heart of Morocco with a few monuments such as the Hassan II Mosque, a giant mosque by the sea. We will explore Casablanca city and then drive to Marrakech, where our 7-day diverse tour from Marrakech ends.
