Our new & exclusive 8-day adventure takes you from the coastal city of Casablanca to the lively Marrakech, via Morocco’s most popular cities and towns. Join us to explore the imperial cities of Rabat and Fes and enjoy the beauty of the Middle Atlas Mountains as well as experience the magic of the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. Also, let’s try a camel ride, a night in a desert camp, and a session of traditional Gnawa music. Lastly, let us hit the road & travel through the amazing landscapes of Todra and Dades Gorges, visit the historic kasbahs of Ouarzazate and Ait Benhaddou.
On the first day of 8-day tour, we will begin our journey from Casablanca. First of all, we will visit the iconic and picturesque Hassan II Mosque before driving to Morocco’s capital, Rabat. Once there in Rabat, we will explore the city’s main monuments such as the Oudayas Kasbah and Hassan Tower. After lunch, we will continue our journey to the imperial city of Fes, where we will spend the night.
We will dedicate this day to exploring the hidden corners and treasures of Fes city, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. In addition to that, we will wander through the narrow alleys of the UNESCO-listed Medina and visit the historic Al Quaraouiyine University as well as the colorful tanneries, not only that but we will also visit the Bou Inania Madrasa and enjoy a panoramic view of the city before returning to our riad for the night.
We will leave Fes and travel through the magical Middle Atlas Mountains via towns like Ifrane as well as the cedar forest, a home to monkeys and lots of trees. Next, we will continue our drive to Midelt and stop there for lunch. After that, we will drive through the Ziz Valley and Errachidia before we arrive in the golden sand dunes of Merzouga. Once there, we will go for a camel ride, watch the sunset and enjoy a traditional dinner and an overnight stay near the sand dunes.
Today is going to be dedicated to exploring the entire Merzouga village and its surroundings. First, we will visit a local village known for Gnawa music. After that, we will head over to discover traditional Berber life with local nomads living in the Sahara Desert of Merzouga. In addition to that, we will visit seasonal lake of Merzouga. In the evening, we will ride camels across the dunes and enjoy a magical desert sunset before spending the night in a desert camp and watch the stars.
After a nice breakfast, we will leave the Sahara desert behind and stop by the traditional market of Rissani, then drive to the impressive Todra Gorges, a spot for hikers and rock climbers. After some time of exploring the canyon, we will continue our journey through the Dades Valley, known for its stunning rock formations and Kasbahs and spend the night there at a Riad.
A new day is a new adventure! Today we will drive through the Valley of Roses and stop in Kalaat M’Gouna, a town famous for its roses and beautiful rose products. Following that, we will visit the film studios and the ancient Kasbah of Taourirt in Ouarzazate. Next, we will carry on to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou before crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass and arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
On the seventh day of our tour, we will discover the vibrant city of Marrakech with a guide to explore the most iconic landmarks of Marrakech, namely the Koutoubia Mosque with its towering and well-decorated minaret. After that, we will explore the iconic Bahia Palace, and then walk around the lively Jemaa El-Fna square as well as explore the colorful souks of Marrakech Medina.
At nightfall, we will drop you off at the Riad for the night.
