    Itinerary

    Day 1Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Rabat

    On the first day of our 8-day from Fes, we will start our adventure with a short drive to the city of Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities known for its giant gates with decorations and grand palaces. Next, we will Continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in archaeological marvels. After that, we will visit Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Once there in Rabat, we’ll explore landmarks like Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas, before we spend the night at a Riad in the Medina

    Day 2Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech

    On the second day of journey & after a delicious Moroccan breakfast, we will head out on a new adventure to Casablanca to visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, located on the Atlantic coast. Casablanca is the biggest city in Morocco and an economic center. Later in the day, we shall travel south to the famous city of Marrakech, the “Red City,” where we will rest and spend the night.

    Day 3Marrakech City Tour

    When we wake up the next day, we will enjoy a full-day of a guided tour around Marrakech’s historical and cultural highlights. First off, we will book a visit to the Majorelle Garden, a beautiful garden in the heart of Marrakech; it reflects the creativity of the French when they lived in Morocco. Second, we will stop by the Koutoubia Mosque, a giant mosque with a well-decorated minaret located a few steps away from the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Following that, we will visit the intricate Bahia Palace & wander through the bustling souks of Marrakech and uncover the beauty of Morocco.

    Day 4Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate

    After having explored every corner of Marrakech, we will leave Marrakech and drive through the High Atlas Mountains, specifically Tizi n’Tichka Pass, and then Visit the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO-listed village and popular film location, before we Arrive in Ouarzazate, the “little hollywood of Africa,” popular for its film studios and desert landscapes.

    Day 5Ouarzazate – Skoura – Kasbah Amridil – Dades Gorges

    A new day is a new adventure ! We will hit the road to explore more of Morocco. We will stop by Skoura Oasis and visit the magical Kasbah Amridil, a fortress made of clay and straw. Next, we will Continue through the Valley of Roses before we reach the stunning Dades Gorges, where you’ll be amazed by dramatic rock formations and Berber villages.

    Day 6Dades Gorges – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

    After our breakfast at the hotel in Dades,we will carry on our drive to the breathtaking Todgha Gorges. We will stop to enjoy a nice walk between the canyons and by the river. After that, we will continue our journey to the famous Sahara Desert in Merzouga. We will arrive there in the late afternoon and catch a camel into the dunes of Erg Chebbi to enjoy a pure Desert sunset and then spend a calm night in a traditional desert camp.

    Day 7Merzouga – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Midelt

    On this day, we will make sure you get up early to see a Desert sunrise over the dunes and maybe take pictures of that magical moment. After that, we will travel through the fossil town of Erfoud and the Ziz Valley, before we make our Stop of the day in Midelt, located by the Middle Atlas mountains.

    Day 8Midelt – Cedar Forest – Fes

    On our final day, we will drive to Fes & pass through the Cedar Forest of Azrou, home to playful monkeys ( Barbary Apes).  Once there, we will enjoy the enchanting views of the Atlas Mountains & a fresh mountain air before arriving back in Fes, where our 8-day tour from Fes ends.

    How long does the camel ride last?

    It usually takes one hour or one hour and a half and it is fun experience, as you can also take pictures.

    What should I wear for the camel ride?

    There is no specific outfit for that; however, make sure you wear comfortable clothing and a scarf, as the sun could be a little too hot.

    Is the accommodation in the desert comfortable?

    Yes, standard and luxury desert camps are super comfortable. Both include private tents with private bathrooms and delicious local Moroccan meals
