    Day 1Fes – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

Our 3-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech at ToMerzouga starts in the imperial city of Fes, located in central Morocco, then we will drive to Merzouga via the Middle Atlas Mountains, while making a stop in Ifrane city, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco,” as it snows there and has European-like houses and buildings. Following our stop in Ifrane, we will make a pause in the Cedar Forest of Azrou, home to the famous Barbary apes ( a type of Monkeys). Next, we are going to carry on driving through the enchanting landscapes of Midelt, a small town situated at the foot of the Middle Atlas Mountains, before we arrive in Ziz Valley, known for its picturesque palm groves and ancient Ksars (fortified villages).

In the late afternoon, we’ll get to Erfoud, the gateway to the Desert and a town known for its many fossil workshops. By sunset, we will finally arrive in Merzouga, specifically Erg Chebbi dunes . Once we get there, we will catch a camel into the the heart of the Sahara Desert. We will enjoy an amazing Desert sunset  from the highest sand dune and take photos of that special moment. After that, our camel men will drop us off at the Desert camp for the night. At evening time, we will have a delicious dinner at the Desert camp & enjoy a music session around the camp fire before we call it a night.

Day 2Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

On the second day of our adventure, we will get up early to enjoy a stunning sunrise from the Desert dunes. After our  breakfast, we will drive to Rissani, a small yet lively Desert town; it was once a major stop for Saharan caravans, and now it is a shopping destination thanks to its vibrant Souks ( markets). Next, we will continue to Todra Gorges, a paradise for climbers and nature lovers. Once there, we will walk between its towering canyons and enjoy some time by the Todra River. In the late afternoon, we will continue to Dades Valley, where we will spend the night.

    Day 3Dades Gorges – Kelaat M'gouna – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

On the last day of our 3-day tour, we will hit the road & drive through the Valley of Roses near Kelaat M’Gouna, known for its roses with a beautiful scent. Also, we could stop for a short visit to a local cooperative before arriving in Ouarzazate, also known as the little “Hollywood of Africa”, as parts of some famous films were shot there, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones etc… Following our stop in Ouarzazate, we will also head over to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, a historic Kasbah that looks surreal as though it came out of a storybook. We will walk through its narrow alleys and admire its mudbrick architecture as well as take many pictures. Later in the day, we will begin our drive again through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) with its panoramic views, before we get to Marrakech, where our 3-day desert journey from Fes to Marrakech ends.
